Have you ever come across information about a mistake in a movie or TV show and thought "Rubbish - that's not a mistake!" Well, you're not alone. While reading Phil Farrand's Nitpickers Guide for Classic Trekkers, I managed to come up with plausible explanations for at least a third of the 'nits' - And If I can explain some of this stuff, I'm sure explanations can be found for errors in other TV shows and films! To find out if I'm right, I decided to put together a Wiki for these explanations.
Explained Errors Wiki is a collaborative project to create the most definitive, accurate, and accessible encyclopedia and reference relating to explanations for errors in films and TV shows that don't have a wiki. (For explainable errors on films and shows featured on other wikis, please visit the wiki in question.) This wiki started in September 2011, and there are currently 118 articles.
SeniramUK 20:33, July 29, 2019 (UTC) I apologise for being away for so long, as I have been busy with other stuff, as well as working on other wikis. Speaking of other wikis, I have decided to remove all Star Trek related entries from this wiki, to avoid duplicating entries in Explaining Errors in Star Trek.
SeniramUK 13:56, September 2, 2019 (UTC) Following on from removal of the Star Trek entries, I have decided to remove entries for films and TV shows mentioned on other wikis.
